A Florida semi-truck driver suffered injuries during a Tuesday morning crash in Putnam County.
The accident happened at 1:15 a.m. at the 288 mile marker of Interstate 40 eastbound.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report said William Irving Clary, Jr. failed to maintain his proper lane. Officials said the 2019 Perterbilt tractor trailer went off the right side of the roadway, traveled through the grass, and struck several trees. The report said the vehicle rolled onto its side and came to a final rest.
State troopers did not file any charges or citations as a result of the accident.
