The Tennessee Highway Patrol cited a Clay County school bus driver following a Friday afternoon crash.
A THP crash report said the bus had 16 school children on board when the accident happened on Highway 52. None of the children suffered injuries.
According to the report, 33-year-old Heather C. Johnson was driving the bus westbound near the intersection of Arcot Road. 41-year-old Natalie Boone was in front of the bus attempting to turn left onto Arcot Road.
The report said the bus rear-ended Boone’s Chevrolet Tahoe as she yielded for eastbound traffic.
Boone received treatment at Livingston Regional Hospital for neck and back pain.
The THP cited Johnson with failure to exercise due care. She did not suffer any injuries.
