Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2019, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Saturday, December 7, 2019, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Presley Funeral Home. Sallie passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was born Friday, November 24, 1944 in Rockwood, Tennessee to the late Cletus Cook and Marie Horton Cook. Sallie was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods. She loved to read and spend time with her family
Funeral Services for Mr. Carl Douglas Bilbrey, age 70, of Livingston will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Aaron Dillon will officiate. Burial to follow in the Burris Cemetery in Jackson County, with Military Honors provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home. Carl passed from this life on Thursday morning, December 5, 2019 from the Livingston Regional Medical Center. He was born in Overton County, Tennessee on March 2, 1949 to the late Frank W. & Mable R. Ledbetter Bilbrey. He was a 1967 graduate of Livingston Academy and served in the National Guard for many years. Carl enjoyed training horses, mules, and enjoyed running a bulldozer and backhoe. He had a love for antique cars and trucks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Jean Gardner, age 86, of Gulf Shores, Alabama, formerly of Quebeck, will be conducted 12:00pm Saturday, December 7, 2019 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. She passed away Friday, November 29th, after an extended illness. Mrs. Gardner was born October 25, 1933 in Sparta, TN to the late Norman Rice and Addie B. Emerton. She was married 50 years to James Ray Gardner. She was retired from the Packaging Division of Nestle Corporation. She loved to watch Hallmark shows, quilting, and send cards to family, friends and fellow church members. She was a member of Quebeck Church of Christ.The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00am until service time at Hunter Funeral Home. Don Shuster will officiate the service.

Linda passed away Tuesday December 3, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Interment will follow in the Lafever Cemetery in White County. JD passed away Thursday December 5, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1941 in Putnam County to the late Ernest Payne and Roberta Mae Pittman Judd. JD was a member of Scott Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret Ramsey Judd, whom he married January 16, 1987; two daughters, Sheila (Richard) Allen of Cookeville, Tammy (Jason) Greenwood of Buffalo Valley; sister, Ruby (Bob) Fisher of Cookeville; two brothers, Bro. Elmore (Jo Ann) Judd of Sparta, Fred (Dean) Judd of Smithville; and two grandchildren, Chad Franklin and Dalton Greenwood. His family will receive friend Saturday from 5 – 8 p.m. and again Sunday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

She was born October 23, 1958 in Natchez, Mississippi to Virginia Ruth Maddux Leftwich Carr of Baxter and the late James Lewis Leftwich. She was a former owner of L & J Market in Baxter. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
