A Putnam County inmate faces new charges after he allegedly tried to escape from jail last week.
Authorities said Zachary Daniel Holler stood on a stool and knocked down a portion of the ceiling. He allegedly entered the space above and climbed up until he reached the roof support structure. Deputies discovered Haller near an air vent.
Arrest warrants said Haller told the affiant that he just wanted to see what was up there.
Haller will make a court appearance for an escape charge next month. He originally landed behind bars for a probation violation.
