Cookeville Man Faces Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

A Cookeville man faces multiple drug charges following a traffic stop.

30-year-old Michael Dowell charged with the manufacture, distribution and selling of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the falsification of drug test results. Cookeville Police pulled Dowell over on a traffic stop just after midnight Thursday along Carolina Avenue.

Police seized drugs in the car and charged Dowell.
