A Byrdstown man has admitted to possessing child pornography.
Authorities arrested 36-year-old Oscar Garcia on a charge of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported videos of child porn being uploaded to a website. Authorities traced the IP address to Garcia’s home on Billy Zachary Road.
On May 10 investigators located numerous videos and photos of children conducting sexual activity and simulated sexual activity on Garcia’s computer. An arrest report stated that Garcia admitted to possessing and downloading the content.
Garcia will appear before Criminal Court Judge Wesley Bray on August 15.
