2 former Puerto Rican government officials indicted on fraud charges

Six people have been arrested — including two former Puerto Rican officials — for allegedly diverting federal funds to politically-connected contractors. The group allegedly defrauded the U.S. of $15.5 million in federal funding between 2017 and 2019. Source
