A Warren County motorcycle crash claimed the life of a McMinnville man Tuesday.
The crash happened on Highway 56 South in the Irving College area.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased Wednesday as 41-year-old Stirling Vanfleet.
A crash report said Vanfleet’s Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle crashed into a John Deer tractor, driven by 58-year-old David Farless of McMinnville. Officials said the tractor had slowed to make a left turn into a private driveway. The crash happened as Vanfleet attempted to pass the tractor on the left side.
Farless did not suffer any injuries. Officials pronounced Vanfleet dead at the scene of the crash.
