Two Cookeville Police officers suffered injuries during a pursuit with a suspect Wednesday.
Jeffrey Scantland faces charges of aggravated reckless endangerment, felony evading arrest, and reckless endangerment.
CPD officials said the incident began when Scantland fled a traffic stop on West 7th Street. The pursuit ended when Scantland struck another Cookeville Police officer’s vehicle near Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC).
Scantland, his female passenger, and two Cookeville Police officers received treatment at CRMC. An update on their conditions has not been released.
Officials said Scantland faces additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.
