Cookeville Crossing Guard Struck By Car

Cookeville authorities are investigating an incident along Old Kentucky Road where a school crossing guard was struck by a car.

Police Captain Bobby Anderson reports traffic is currently being affected in the area of Northeast Elementary.

Anderson said the crossing guard’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
