A Smithville man will answer to his second DUI charge during an April 25th court appearance.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Ricardo Carabeo on Sunday for allegedly driving drunk with two small children inside his car.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop after observing Carabeo’s vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel. Arrest warrants indicate Carabeo had a strong odor of alcohol on his person and failed several field sobriety tests.
Carabeo is charged with DUI, reckless endangerment, and driving on a revoked license.
