Donna Adkins, Age 54, Of, Crossville, Passed Away On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, At Her Home. Ms. Adkins Was Born On August 26, 1964, In Columbus, Ohio, To Pearl Farris Copeland Of Crossville, And The Late Gerald Adkins. Ms. Adkins Was A Homemaker. In Addition To Her Mother, She Is Survived By, 4 Daughters, Michelle Netherton Of Crossville, Candice Barnwell Of Crossville, Lisa Nicole Norrod Of Monterey, Tamra Lynn Norrod Of Monterey; 2 Sons, Donald Lee Edwards, Terry Lee Edwards; 5 Grandchildren; Sister, Kay Wilson Of Monterey; 3 Brothers, Shannon Adkins Of Monterey, Randy Demetro Of Crossville, Gary Demetro Of Crossville. In Addition To Her Father, She Was Preceded In Death By 2 Brothers, Shawn Adkins And Pat Demetro; And Step Father, Johnny Copeland. Her Wishes Of Cremation Are Being Honored.

Mrs. Mary Frances Thompson, age 82, of Livingston passed from this life on Wednesday morning, March 13, 2019 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral Services for Geraldine Nunley Dunn, 78 of Sparta, will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Bobby Wilhite and Derrick Coble officiating. Burial will follow in Doyle Cemetery. The family will welcome friends from 5-8pm on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the funeral home. Dunn passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at her home. She was born on Wednesday, November 20, 1940 in Chattanooga , Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edward Nunley and Virginia Griffith Nunley. Geraldine worked at Red Kapp Industries for over 40 years. She was also a member of West Sparta Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Haskell Reed, age 74 of Rickman, will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery. Mr. Reed passed away on March 12, 2019 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta. Mr. Reed was born in Rickman on March 8, 1945 to the late Haskell Reed and Elipha Gore Reed. Survivors: Wife: Thelma Reed of Rickman; 2 Sons: Benjamin Reed of Rickman, Chris Reed of Lebanon; 1 Sister: Joann Phillips of Rickman; 5 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren. A host of Family and Friends also survive. Preceded in death: His Parents. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, March 14, 2019 starting at 5 PM until 8 PM.

Funeral Services for Dolores “Dee” Jean Kelly, age 83 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, March 15, 2019, at 6:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. She passed from this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at her home. Dee was born Friday, December 13, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Neuman) Stacey. Dee was a wonderful daughter, mom, grandma, and GG. She was a loving and caring person with a heart of gold who was adored by all that knew her. Ms. Hays Was A Homemaker. She Is Survived By Her Daughter, Kathern Hays Of The Cravenstown Community; Son And Daughter-In-Law, Joel And Virginia Hays Of Monterey, TN; 5 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Zona Abston Of The Cravenstown Community; Brother, Doug Threet Of The Cravenstown Community. In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Husband, Joel Fount Hays, Son, Darrell Hays; Brothers And Sisters, Harold Cooper, Clint Threet, Frances Winningham, Rillie Hays, Joyce Gates, Jane Hahn And Faye Campbell. Memorial Services for Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Howell “Becky” Sims, age 63 of Sparta, will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday, March 16, 2019 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00am until 1:00pm Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home. Doug Downs will officiate. She passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital. Rebecca Lynn Howell Sims was known by many names- Becky, nurse, mom, and Granny B. She rarely met a stranger, and she would do anything for anyone who needed her help. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, riding the motorcycle with her husband, and playing with her puppy, Naomi.

Funeral Services for Mr. Robert James “Bob” Bilbrey, age 82 of Livingston, will be conducted 1 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Steryl Parramore will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Mr. Bilbrey passed from this life on Saturday evening, March 9, 2019 from the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. He was born April 28, 1937 in Overton County to the late Stephen Lee & Ella Mae Brown Bilbrey. Bob was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church in Cookeville and a graduate of Livingston Academy. He loved and enjoyed playing the guitar, and playing with his praise team at church. Bob lived in Ohio from 1956 – 1979 and played with several bands all across the State of Ohio. Bob leaves behind his sisters, Chrys Peck of Alexandria, VA, Gail Bilbrey & husband Rick Nelson of Livingston, and Jean Hays of Scottsdale, Arizona; also several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Estel, and Allen Ray Bilbrey; sisters, Ella Mae Bilbrey, and Frances “Bobbie” Rank; brother-in-laws, J.Loren Peck, and Clifford Hays; sister-in-law, Ann Bilbrey. A Memorial Gathering for Walter Louis Jones, age 73 of Sparta, will be held from 1-3pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Walter passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on Friday, October 12, 1945 in Nashville, he was the son of the late William and Demetra Warren Jones. He loved spending time with his friends, and he loved a good conversation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Smith and his half brother, Lynwood Jones. Survivors include: Wife- Pamela White Jones of Sparta; Daughter- Jennifer Jones Elder of Cookeville (Steven Elder of Sparta); Grandsons- James A.L. Elder of Cookeville and Chris Elder (Fiance, Destiny Dillon) of Livingston; Special Member of the Family- Andrea Keltner; Nieces- Rhonda Crook and Kim List.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Harris Thompson, age 82, of Livingston will be conducted 3 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 from the Allons Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Damon Corley, Bro. Duane Graves, and Bro. Edwin Garrett will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m., then on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of services at the Allons Baptist Church. Mrs. Frances passed from this life on Wednesday morning, March 13, 2019 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 19, 1937 in Overton County to the late Curtis Hall & Challice Juanita Ferrell Harris. Frances was a 1955 graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the Allons Baptist Church. She was known for her plentiful gardens and flowers she grew. Her cupboards were full of her canned vegetables that she took joy in growing. Frances loved going on walks and meditating . She loved watching westerns and hallmark movies. She enjoyed giving her canned goods to her friends, family and neighbors. Frances loved going on train rides and attending church. She was a people person, and had a strong work ethic and working hard in anything she did or accomplished.

Funeral service for James Kenneth Ledbetter, age 72, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m Sunday March 17 at Dyer Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Adams will officiate. Interment will military honors will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Overton County. James passed away Thursday morning March 14, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. James was born September 25, 1946 in Cookeville to the late Glen Willard Ledbetter and Stella Beatrice Walker Ledbetter. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Navy. James formerly worked in road and building construction. He is survived by a two daughters, Cynthia Ledbetter of Beckley, WV, and Mary Ledbetter (Devin Hedgecoth) of Cookeville; two sons, Phillip Ledbetter of Decatur, TX, and Jimmy Ledbetter (wife, Liz) of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Jerry Ledbetter of Cookeville; sister, Wanda Kimes of Cookeville; and grandchildren, Mia and Dawson Hedgecoth, Madyson Johnson, Kyle and Bailey Ledbetter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Reda Faye Hunter Ledbetter; grandson, Terry Rodgers; sister, Francis Matthews; and sister-in-law, Janie Ledbetter. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 – 7 p.m and Sunday from 12 noon until service time.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ann Emmerling Hogue, age 79 of Livingston will be conducted 3 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2019 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Dr. Darrin Ford and Bro. Steven Barlow will officiate. Burial will follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ann passed from this life in the comfort of her home on Wednesday evening, March 13, 2019 surrounded by her family. Ann was born in Elwood, IN on July 27, 1939 to the late Fred Michael and Blanch Owen Emmerling. She was a 1959 graduate of Elwood High School, and a member of the Monroe Christian Church. Ann loved and enjoyed being with all her family. She enjoyed traveling, going to church and being around people. Ann loved to watch the Atlanta Braves and watching old movies, reading, crossword puzzles, and cooking. She loved life and the people she was around. Ann leaves behind her loving husband, Glenard Wade Hogue of Livingston; sons, Mark Andre Whitaker, and Brian Keith Whitaker & wife Julie of Monroe; daughter, Marsha Hogue Deck & husband Jim of Livingston; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews, other Relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her son, Mark David Hogue; brothers, Michael, and Arthur Emmerling; sisters, Madonna Emmerling Padgett, and Rose Lee Emmerling; grandchild, Baby Mark; and great-grandchild, Grace Ann Martin. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 p.m., then on Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of services at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Memorial services for Fred W. Smith, 65, of Gainesboro, will be held at 6 P.M. on Monday, March 18, 2019, at  Anderson – Upper  Cumberland  Funeral  Home  in  Gainesboro.  The family has chosen cremation. He  passed  away  on  Friday, March  8, 2019, at  Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born December 17, 1953, in Gainesboro, to  the late James E. Smith  and  Carol Sadler Shealy. He was a suit tailor by trade, and a member of the McClellan Church of Christ in Cookeville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Jack L. Smith; 2 Sisters: Kathy Smith and Kaye Smith Mathis; Paternal Grandparents: Herman and Josie Smith; and Maternal Grandparents: John Henry and Clifford Sadler. Survivors include 1 Son: Beau (Kara) Smith of Cookeville; 1 Daughter: Jessica Williams of Cookeville; 10 Grandchildren: Bella, Joshua, Madden, Braxton, Caleb, David, Ronan, and Nevaeh Smith; Josie Kate and Maya Isabelle Williams; 1 Nephew: James Herman Smith of Gainesboro; and 1 Niece: Jacquline (Gary) Flynn of Gainesboro. The  family  will  receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2019, from 3 P.M. until time of services.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Gary Levon Seibers, age 67 of Quebeck, will be held from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Quebeck Community Center. Gary passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at NHC in Sparta. He was born November 5, 1951 in Sparta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee and Mable Bernice Hutson Seibers; sisters, Etta Ruth Seibers Dailey and Linda Frank Seibers Smart. He is survived by: Sons- Gary Levon Seibers Jr. (Bobbie) of Sparta, Steven Seibers of Sparta, Jamie Seibers of Sparta; Several granchildren also survive; Brothers- Harold Seibers of Quebeck, Carl Seibers of Sparta, Jerry Seibers (Betty) of Walling, Dwight Seibers (Helen) of Quebeck, Troy Seibers of Quebeck; Sisters- Joyce Matheney of Sparta, Anna Seibers of Livingston, Rhonda Seibers of Quebeck. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
