Cookeville Police arrested a man Thursday who had allegedly used a stolen identity to get a job.
Authorities charged 37-year-old Luciano Jose Miguel with identity theft and forgery.
Arrest warrants indicate Miguel purchased an identity by the name of Adrian Cano last August for $200.
Miguel then allegedly forged the name onto an employment document when trying to obtain a job at Collins Manufacturing.
Miguel was booked into the Putnam County Jail and has since been released on $2,000 bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for March 25.
