A Dickson man faces multiple charges after threatening management at a Crossville bar with a handgun Thursday night.
A Crossville Police report states 34-year-old Mickey Wright got into a dispute with management at Bootleggers Grille after he was asked to leave.
Witness statements indicate Wright allegedly pulled a handgun from his pocket and chambered the firearm, ejecting a live round onto the floor.
The report also indicates witnesses saw Wright waving the gun in the air, continuing to argue with staff and asking them to exit the building.
Police later made contact with Wright after he left the scene and had him return to the restaurant. Wright initially told officers he pulled a cell phone from his pocket, but later changed his account to say he did have a handgun with him.
The report indicates approximately 20 people were inside the bar at the time of the incident.
Police ran a criminal history on Wright which indicated he was a convicted felon. He faces several charges including reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, felon in possession of a weapon, and armed and dangerous felon. Police took Wright into custody and booked him into the Cumberland County Jail.
