A Silver Point Man faces drug charges after Cookeville Police found more than 10 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Thursday.
Officers charged 49-year-old Marshall Irvine Douglas with manufacture, deliver, sell, or possession of meth. He remains behind bars on $7,000 bond.
According to an arrest warrant, police identified Douglas as a passenger of a vehicle stopped on Interstate Drive and South Willow Avenue.
Officers said a consensual search of the vehicle revealed multiple baggies beneath the passenger seat with one containing 10.5 grams of a clear crystalline substance.
Douglas allegedly admitted to selling the substance and getting anywhere between $45 to $50 per gram.
Douglas has an initial court date set for March 4th.
