Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) announced Tuesday the first baby born at the facility for 2019 is a girl.
CRMC released a statement saying Isabel Yojana Hernandez-Ramirez was born just after 12:32 a.m. Tuesday, weighing seven pounds, 14 ounces, and measuring at 18 inches along. Her parents are Juana Ramirez- Cano and Miguel Hernandez Bartalome.
CRMC reports the largest delivery in 2018 was a baby girl weighing 11 pounds and three ounces, just edging out the largest boy at 11 pounds and two ounces.
In total, CRMC’s Birthing Center delivered over 1,500 babies in 2018, with just over half being girls. 13 sets of twins were also delivered at the Birthing Center last year.
