Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a Crossville man after he was found injured Tuesday.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies discovered 58-year-old Paul Wing on Sandy Creek Road just before 12:30 p.m. after reports of a shooting in the area.
The TBI released a statement indicating Wing was shot during an argument with another man. That man has not been identified at this time.
Wing was then transported to Cumberland Medical Center where he later died.
Sheriff’s Office Investigators and TBI officials are looking into the situation as the investigation remains ongoing. Officials have requested an autopsy as part of their investigation.
