Cookeville Leisure Services has agreed on a catering bid for the annual Father Daughter Date Night.
Director Rick Woods said he will request the city council to approve a $22,627 bid from Royal Act Catering when the city council meets Thursday.
“We no longer have Caesar salad, but we do have a typical garden salad on the menu,” Woods said. “We saved almost $1,100 from what our previous bid was.”
The city council rejected bids earlier this month after Caesar salad drove up the bid price. Royal Act Catering had submitted the initial bid for $23,705 based on city specifications
The Cookeville City Council will meet Thursday at 5:30 p.m. inside city hall.
