NC Man Arrested For DUI After Speeding Incident

A speeding violation resulted in a DUI charge against a North Carolina man Monday.

According to an arrest warrant, a state trooper clocked 26-year-old Bradley T. Dickey driving 122 miles per hour on Interstate 40 in Putnam County.

The state trooper conducted a traffic stop and located an open bottle of alcohol inside the vehicle.

Dickey reportedly had watery eyes and handed a credit card to the trooper when asked for his driver’s license.

The arrest warrant said Dickey failed several field sobriety tests and admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day.

Dickey remains behind bars on $2,000 bond.
