A preliminary hearing will take place next week for an Overton County man charged in a November officer-involved shooting in Warren County.
Authorities have charged 66-year-old Charles Ray Bean with two counts of attempted criminal homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, and evading arrest.
The incident began Monday, November 19th when Bean allegedly set fire to his own barn and garage in Overton County and threatened to kill a family member in Warren County.
Officials said Bean traveled to Warren County where he fired of deputies after a pursuit ended near Highway 70.
He’s being held behind bars on $1 million bond. His preliminary hearing will take place Tuesday, December 11th in Warren County.
