Mrs. Gussie Clark, age 94 of Sparta, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Life Care Center of Sparta. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Judy Ann Ford Jackson, age 64, of Livingston passed from this life in the comfort of her home on Wednesday morning, November 28, 2018. She was born in Overton County on August 31, 1954 to the late George & Virginia Smith Ford. Judy was Methodist in faith and a caregiver. She loved her kids and grandkids, they were the joy of her life. She leaves her loving Daughter, Melissa Jackson of Livingston; sons, Billy Wayne Jackson & wife Mary of Monroe, and Jody Jackson of Hilham; grandchildren, Steven Jackson, Melissa Boils, Courtney Jackson, Cody Jackson, Cailey Jackson Cassidy Jackson, and Cameron Jackson; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Ballard of Livingston; brothers, Larry Ford of Cookeville, Danny Ford & wife Debbie of Hilham, Michael Ford and Tommy Ford both of Livingston; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Ford. Celebration of Life Service arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral Services For Judy Faye Tucker, Age 65, Of Hanging Limb, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted On Thursday, November 29, 2018, At 7:00 PM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Bro. Nolan Cantrell Will Officiate With Interment To Follow In The George M. Phillips Cemetery On Friday, November 30, 2018, At 10:00 AM. Ms. Tucker Was Born On July 6, 1953, In Monterey, Tennessee, To The Late Thelbert And Eva Mae Looper Garrett. Ms. Tucker Passed Away On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, At The Vanderbilt University Medical Center In Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Tucker Had Worked With D’Arbo, Hanging Limb Apparel, And FFM. She Was Baptist In Faith. She Is Survived By Her Daughter, Angela Ryan Of Monterey, TN; Son, Andy Ryan Of Crawford, TN; 4 Grandchildren, Meghan Ledbetter, Nicholas Black, Savannah Black And Gus Ryan; Sister And Brother-In-Law, Joyce And Jimmy Bullock Of The Vines Ridge Community; Sister-In-Law, Brilla Garrett Of Monterey, TN; Niece, Starlett Garrett Wessels; And Nephew, Jamie Bullock. In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Brother, Roger Garrett. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Thursday, November 29, 2018, From 4:00 PM Until Time Of Services At 7:00 PM.

Funeral Services for Mr. Benjamin Frederick Jolley, age 31, of Livingston will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 from the First Baptist Church in Livingston. Military Honors will be provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. Burial will be in the Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Ben passed from this life on Monday evening, November 26, 2018 at his home in Livingston. He was born in Tacoma Washington on August 23, 1987 to Tom & Jean Carter Jolley. He was a 2005 graduate of Livingston Academy, and was in his last semester to graduate Tennessee Tech. Ben served his country in the Army from 2010 – 2014. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed working on computers, board games, and being in the outdoors. He leaves his loving wife, Rebekah Marisa Watson Jolley of Livingston; son, Garrett Jolley of Livingston; parents, Tom & Jean Jolley of Livingston; and sister, Betsy Jolley of Livingston. The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Livingston.

Funeral services for Arvis Laborn Lee, age 83, of Cookeville will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Pastors Randy Tompkins and Mike Gillock officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery with US Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, 2018, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM and Friday, November 30, 2018, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home. Arvis passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Life Care Center of Sparta in Sparta. He was born Sunday, July 21, 1935 in Gainesboro, Tennessee to the late Millard Filmore Lee and Laura Therse Gentry Lee. Arvis attended Knight’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. He worked all his life in radio and television sales and repair, built and remodeled houses, and was a real estate broker. He was a General Class Ham Radio Operator since 1960, talking to people all over the world. He taught himself to play the guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and organ. He played bluegrass music and made many friends through playing the music he loved. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gene Evelyn Matheney Warren, age 91 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, November 30th at 1:00 p.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Smith Chapel Cemetery. She died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Her family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial services for Ernest “Bubba” Fox, 47, of Bloomington Springs, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. He had chosen cremation. He passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018, at his residence. He was born November 25, 1971, in Cookeville, to Delores “Lois” Fox and the late John B. Fox. He worked in the logging industry. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Frances “Tooter” Fox. Survivors include 1 Son: David Fox of Gainesboro; his Mother: Delores “Lois” Fox of Bloomington Springs; and 1 Sister: Lisa Fox of Bloomington Springs. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.

Funeral services for Hal Randall Stranz, age 70, of Cookeville, will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Cleek officiating. Randy passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his home in Cookeville. He was born November 17, 1948 in El Dorado, AR to the late Jack Hal Strange and the late Lillie Mae Strange. Randy was an Interior Communications Electrician in the United States Navy serving on the USS San Marcos, where he was honorably discharged in 1971. He worked 20 years as a sales manager for Cenveo retiring in 2008. Randy had a passion for golf which he enjoyed with his two children, Matthew and Alyssa. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hal Strange, and his mother, Lillie Mae Strange. He is survived by his son, Matthew Stranz of Bowling Green, KY; his daughter, Alyssa Harris of Cookeville; his sister Pamela Strange Laurie of Olive Branch, MS; and his spouse, Cathy Stranz of Cookeville. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 30, 2018, 3:00 PM – 4:00PM at Presley Funeral Home prior to the Funeral Service.

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Stover Carr, age 72, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2018 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Derek Copeland and Bro. Nolan Cantrell will officiate. Burial will be in the Stover Cemetery. Mrs. Betty passed from this life on Thursday morning, November 29, 2018 from the comfort of her home in Livingston. She was born in Overton County on January 10, 1946 to the late George & Elsie Ledbetter Stover. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Livingston. Betty loved cooking for her kids, grandkids and friends. She loved church, sports and cheering on her grandchildren at ballgames. Betty leaves her sons, Marty Carr & wife Teresa of Livingston, and Mark Carr and fiancé Casey Sizemore of Livingston; grandchildren, Lorianne White & husband Matt of Livingston, Brent Carr & wife Sasha of Livingston, Brayden Carr, Brock Carr, and Cora Sizemore all of Livingston; great-grandchildren, Carson White, Gunter Carr, Harris Carr, and Brooke Carr; sister, Linda Henson; brothers, Jerry Stover and George Stover. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Junior, Ray, and Bobby Stover. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home.

Celebration Of Life Services For Patricia Ann Miko, Age 75, Of The Cumberland Cove Community Of Monterey, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted On Sunday, December 2, 2018, From 2:00 PM Until 4:00 PM At The Cumbeland Cove Welcome Center. Rev. Canon Michael Spears-Jones Will Officiate. Mrs. Miko Passed Away On Saturday, October 27, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She Grew Up In South Florida But Was Fond Of Saying “I Was Not Born In Tennessee, But I Got Here As Soon As I Could”. She Loved The Climate And Beauty Of Tennessee. Mrs. Miko Was Born On August 4, 1943, In Rochester, New York, To The Late Frederick And Elizabeth Hudlett. Mrs. Miko Attended University Of Alabama – ROLL TIDE. She Was Executive Director Of Mirawood Day School In Hollywood, Florida. She Loved Volunteer Work, Including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, And Helping Hands. She Loved All Animals, Especially Rescue Dogs. She Enjoyed Traveling, Reading And Decorating The House For Every Holiday. She Was An Active Member Of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. She Is Survived By Her Husband Of 53 Years, Stephen Robert Miko; 1 Daughter, Elissa Anne Miko And Companion, Shane Grathwohl; 2 Sons, Dr. Seann Robert Miko, Kyle William Miko And Wife, Ximena Lynda Miko; 2 Grandchildren, Isabella And Jacob Miko; Sister, Pamela Powell; Brother, Jeff Hudlett. In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Brother, Frederick Hudlett.

Graveside services for Mr. Harnold A. Mercer, age 77, of Gainesboro will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 from the Fellowship Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Mercer passed from this life on Sunday evening, November 25, 2018 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Clay County on February 10, 1941 to the late Hilary & Geneva Glidewell Mercer. Harnold worked for Saturn Automotive. He was Pentecostal and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and woodworking. He loved to help people anyway he could. His favorite enjoyment was with his family, especially his grandchildren. He leaves his loving wife Mrs. Marjorie King Mercer of Gainesboro; daughter, Pamela Mercer of Gainesboro; grandchildren, Danielle Mercer, Rhett Mercer, Michael Peak, and Matthew Peak; great-grandchild, Micah Peak; brother, Robert A. Mercer of Alamogordo, NM. In addition to his parents, Harnold was preceded in death by his sisters, Beatrice Brown, Helen Sidwell, and Opalene Franklin; brothers, John Ed Mercer, Samuel Arnold Mercer, Alton Mercer, and Talton Mercer. The family will welcome friends at the cemetery.
