Crossville Police Announce Promotions

Crossville Police Chief Jessie Brooks has promoted two veteran officers.

Brooks said Monday that Chris Kendrick will serve as the department’s deputy chief and J.C. Hancock as the administrative lieutenant.

Kendrick has spent the past 19 years at the department serving as interim chief, patrol captain, K9 Supervisor, SWAT sniper and firearms instructor.

Hancock is a 27 year veteran of the department, serving as a detective sergeant, patrol staff sergeant, and school resource officer.

Hancock and Kendrick began their new roles on Sunday.
