Cookeville, Crossville Deemed Top Retirement Destinations

The American Association of Retirement Communities recently selected Cookeville and Crossville as two of the top retirement destinations in the country.

The organization awarded its Seal of Approval the two communities based on lifestyle programming, amenity development, communication programs and education.

The Cookeville-Putnam County Visitors’ Bureau says mild seasons, close proximity to Nashville, and outdoor recreation opportunities help make the area a top retirement destination.

AARC awarded the Seal of Approval to 12 total communities across Tennessee, more than any other state in the country.

Fairfield Glade also received AARC’s Developmemt Seal of Approval based on support, quality of life, and structure.
