Cumberland County deputies are investigating the recent theft of two horses from a Coppett Road property.
The homeowner reported having seen horse tracks leading from his property to an adjacent abandoned property. He said markings on the ground were consistent with a horse trailer’s having been pulled onto the property.
No suspects have been identified and an investigation is ongoing. The owner placed the value of the two horses at approximately $5,000.
