Crossville City Council to Meet Tuesday Evening

The Crossville City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting tomorrow, November 13. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 392 North Main Street. The public is welcome to attend.

The Council is expected to approve an ordinance amending Crossville Municipal Code 10-202 about the tethering and humane restraint and treatment of dogs. They’ll also consider a budget  amendment for dog-park equipment.

The Council will also consider amending the Crossville Municipal Code regarding open burning.

Also up for consideration are resolutions regarding applications for Public Entity Partners’ Property Conservation Matching Grant Program and approval of Outside Sewer requests for three addresses on Prentice Street.

The City Council will consider approving the purchase of a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado SUV for the police chief. They’ll consider approving proposals for cable TV and broadband services, and Clean Agent Fire Suppression.

Also on the agenda are approval of an interlocal agreement with the Crab Orchard Utility District, change order #2 for the Interchange Business Park/Site Development and a third amendment to the Granicus Services Agreement.

The Council will also take action on an agreement for blood samples to the City of Crossville Police Department.

Mayor James Mayberry will also present the Student of the Month award and winners of the holiday card competition.
