Robinson Re-Elected, Tight Alderman Race Decided in Spencer

Mickey Robinson has won his re-election bid for the Spencer mayor race while the aldermen race came down to the wire.

Robinson received over half of all votes in the mayor race, defeating challengers Duane Hodges and Jeffery Walling.

All four alderman candidates finished within three percent of each other for the three positions.

Jerry Blankenship led the way with over 320 votes, while nine votes separated Jody Hensley, Bonnie Adcock, and Bryan Hickerson.

Hensley and Adcock received the final two spots with Hickerson falling four votes shy of the last alderman position.
