White County High School football coach Jerry Lowery announced his resignation from the team Friday.
The Warriors were winless for the second-consecutive season in 2018 and have not won a game since 2016.
Lowery led the team to a 3-27 overall record as head coach and finished with a 24-game losing streak.
The Warriors have not reached the postseason nor have they had a winning record since 2013.
Lowery’s departure from the program marks the ninth time in 23 years White County had to search for a new head football coach.
