Smith County authorities have identified a body found at the edge of Cordell Hull Lake Tuesday.
Smith County Rescue Squad members recovered the body of 44-year-old Mary Dodson of Red Boiling Springs.
Crews found Dodson’s body around 7:00 a.m. Family members had reported Dodson missing about seven hours earlier after she failed to show up for work and her car was found abandoned on McClure’s Bend Lane.
The cause of Dodson’s death is being investigated by the Smith County Sheriff’s Office.
