The owner of a local sports bar is looking for answers after someone crashed a truck into his business and stole a number of items early Monday morning.
Larry Key is the owner of The Docks Sports Bar and Grill in Putnam County. He said the stolen items and damage adds up to an estimated $20,000.
“They demolished two pool tables. A bunch of pool sticks were stolen and food was stolen,” Key said. “There wasn’t any cash for them to get in the bar, but I think they stole about 18 cases of beer.”
Key said the thieves also stole several TVs and a safe.
The truck that crashed into the bar belonged to a neighboring business, which was also burglarized around 3:00 a.m. Monday.
Putnam County authorities responded to the scene Monday morning and conducted an investigation. No arrest have been made at this time.
