Byrdstown Woman Injured In Highway 325 Crash

A Byrdstown woman suffered injuries Friday morning when her car crashed into a creek.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 45-year-old Angela Thompson had to be extricated from her 2012 Dodge Caravan and transported to Livingston Regional Medical Center for treatment.

According to the crash report, Thompson was traveling East on Highway 325 when her vehicle exited the left side of the roadway and traveled down a steep embankment before landing on its top in a shallow creek.

The THP report Thompson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and charges are pending at this time.
