Paulette Elliott, Age 70, Of Monterey, Passed Away On Monday, October 22, 2018, At Her Home. Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete.

Aleshia Jones Johnson, Age 49, Of Monterey, Passed Away On Monday, October 22, 2018, At Vanderbilt University Medical Center In Nashville. Funeral Arrangements Are Incomplete.

Funeral services for Mr. George F. Raines, 84, of Gainesboro, will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Clay County. He passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro. He was born September 29, 1934, in Hartsville, to the late Sidney Raines and Ada Davis Raines. On September 26, 1956, he was married to the late Mildred Eileen Raines, who passed away August 14, 2004. He was a Church of Christ minister. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Hulen Raines; and 1 Sister: Helen Apple. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Delores and Charlie West of Baxter; 1 Grandson: Charles David West of Baxter; and 1 Brother: Delbert Raines of Marietta, GA. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 – 8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Memorial donations may be made to the Williams Cemetery Fund by contacting the funeral home.

Funeral services for Jody Lee Reecer, 48, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at the Double Springs Church of Christ in Putnam County. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville. He passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born July 14, 1970, in Nashville, to Truman Reecer and Kathy Reecer. On December 19, 1992, he was married to Machelle Reecer, who survives. He was a member of the Double Springs Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Tim and Armella Reecer; and his Maternal Grandparents: Estis and Vealer Sims. Survivors include his Wife: Machelle Reecer of Cookeville; 2 Sons: Brent (Paige) Reecer of Cookeville, and Bailey Reecer of Cookeville; his Parents: Truman and Kathy Reecer of Bloomington Springs; 1 Brother: Andrew (Kristy) Reecer of Baxter; Father and Mother-in-Law: Wayne and Peggy Lewis of Cookeville; Brother-in-law: Mitchell (Brandace) Lewis of Bloomington Springs; 4 Nieces: Ashlinn Reecer, Shelby Crabtree, Maddie Lewis, and Rylee Lewis; and 2 Nephews: Colton Reecer and Kooper Reecer. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of services.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Linda Collins, age 69, of Livingston will be conducted 1 p.m., Thursday, October 25, 2018 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Rev. Craig Green will officiate. Burial will be in the Eckel Cemetery. Mrs. Linda passed from this life on Sunday morning, October 21, 2018 from the Overton County Health & Rehab. She was born September 29, 1949 in Overton County to the late Molessia Hammons Brown. Linda attended the Shiloh United Methodist Church. She loved her family, and enjoyed watching game shows, flowers, quilting and crocheting. Linda leaves her daughter, Molessia Melton & husband Jimmy Crawford of Rickman; son, Rodney Phillips & wife Melinda of the Highland Mountain Community; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Cindy Day of Cookeville; brothers, Willard Hammons of the Hardys Chapel Community, and Mike Brown of Cookeville. In addition to her mother, Linda was preceded in death by her husbands, Oscar Phillips and Leonard Collins; brothers, Larry Hammons, and Harold “Hambone” Hammons; sisters, Pat Hammons, and Rita Allen. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Lennie Gayle Nelson, 79 of Walling, will be held at 3pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Mike Steakley and Ron Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Gayle passed quietly in her sleep at her home in Walling leaving behind her daughter Katherine (Barry) Gregg of Mount Vernon, Ohio; son Jim (Diane) Nelson of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren Allison Nelson and Troy Nelson of Seattle, Washington; and sister Carole (Lawrence) Dye of Gallatin. She was a three-time cancer survivor: breast, colon, and endometrial cancers. Gayle loved life, loved her family and friends and was a blessing to so many people. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until time of the service at the funeral home.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Donald Leroy Keith, age 85, of Allons will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Cookeville Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mr. Donald Keith passed peacefully from this life on Saturday evening, September 22, 2018 from the Overton County Health & Rehab in Livingston. He was born April 18, 1933 in Harlem, New York to the late Watson & Lois Jackson Keith. Donald served his country during the Korean Conflict, where he served as a Nurse Officer. He would later attend school and become a Nurse Anesthetist. He was a member of Three Angels Seventh-day Adventist Church. Donald loved the Lord, and enjoyed Bible Study, helping others, bird watching, gardening, and playing the piano. He was a amateur photographer and loved his family dearly. Donald leaves his loving wife, Mrs. Harriet Moseley Keith of Allons; daughters, Karmen Keith of Allons, and Lori Fullard & husband Larry of Orangeburg, SC; foster daughter, Sarah Smith & husband Jerome of Grand Rapids, MI; sisters, Jeannette DuBois of New Orleans, LA and Lois Ashburne of Bowie, MD; grandchildren, Larry R. Fullard, Lamar Fullard, and Kyron Hasse; A host of family members, loved ones and friends. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his infant son, Little Donald; sisters, Joan Keith, June Carney-Robinson, and Jacqueline Lewis; foster sister, Jane “Penny” Ingram.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Ricky Adams, age 63, of Livingston will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Mr. Adams passed from this life on October 2, 2018 at his home in Livingston. He was born February 10, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Mable Ramsey Adams and the late Woodson Adams. Ricky was an Iron Worker and Welder and enjoyed fishing. Ricky leaves his wife, April Garcia Adams of Livingston; daughters, Shelly Adams of Orlando, FL and Shari Adams of Orlando, FL; son, Eddie Adams of Orlando, FL, Dwayne Adams of Livingston, and Jared Adams of Livingston; grandchildren, Parker Gurnland, and Connor Vieni; brother, Larry Adams, and Robin “Bo” Adams both of Orlando, FL; mother, Mable Ramsey Adams of Orlando, FL. In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by his sister, Lorretta Adams; brothers, Mitch Ramsey and Jerry Adams. The family will welcome friends on Sunday from 12 noon until time of services at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Celebration Of Life Services For Michael Targosz, Age 67, Of Monterey, Will Be Conducted On Sunday, October 28, 2018, At 2:00 PM At The Monterey United Methodist Church, 124 North Holly Street, Monterey. Rev. Denna Hornby Will Officiate. Mr. Targosz Was Born On March 21, 1951, In Tacoma, Washington, To The Late Tadeusz B. And Rose Marie Zini Targosz. Mr. Targosz Passed Away On Friday, October 19, 2018. Mr. Targosz Was A Tour Bus Driver, Truck Driver, An Avid Classic Car Enthusiast And Had A Passion For Automotive Detailing. He Volunteered With Pet Rescue And Meals On Wheels. He Was A Member Of Monterey United Methodist Church. He Is Survived By His Loving Wife, Teresa Targosz Of Monterey; Many Loving Family And Friends. The Family Will Receive Friends At Monterey United Methodist Church On Sunday, October 28, 2018, From 1:00 PM Until Time Of Services At 2:00 PM.

Memorial services for Daniel Lee Rose, 59, of Cookeville, will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 11 A.M. at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. The family has chosen cremation. He passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at his residence. He was born June 10, 1959, in Brunswick, Maine, to Sylvia Rose and the late Robert Rose. He was married to Holly Robertson Rose, who survives. He worked in sales at Dunham Sports, and served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his Wife: Holly Robertson Rose of Cookeville; his Mother: Sylvia Rose of Maine; 1 Brother: Alan Rose and wife, Sandy; 2 Sisters: Linda Rose Deskins and Letha Rose Wesley and husband, Bob; Nieces and Nephews: Keath Deskins, Christie Engleman, Miranda Jacobs, Roxanne Armstrong, Co-Lee Grev, Misty Rose, Andrew Doble, Bob Wesley, Kara Robertson, Liam Robertson and Robert Mangrum; Caregivers: Jason Robertson and Charlie Williamson; and many friends.
