A new business has opened up in Monterey.
Mayor Bill Wiggins said Prefab Solutions is occupying about 30,000 square feet of space in the old Cumberland Container building.
“This company pre-builds electrical systems and circuitry for residential and commercial customers and I understand they have lots of contracts to fulfill right out of the shoot,” Wiggins said.
The company has been operating in the old building off South Chestnut Street since last month.
The company has about 15 positions at the current time, according to Wiggins
