Deposition for Former Smithville Mayor Set For Dec. 11

A deposition hearing for former Smithville Mayor Jimmy Poss and his son, Tony, is scheduled for December 11.

Both the former Mayor and his son appeared in criminal court Friday at the DeKalb County Courthouse.

The two were arrested in late July on theft charges after the former mayor hired his son for work at the city golf course without the approval from the Smithville Board of Aldermen.
