Fire Breaks Out At Cumberland County Charcoal Plant

A fire broke out in a silo at the Royal Oak charcoal plant in Cumberland County Friday morning.

Crossville and Cumberland County firefighters responded to the Highway 70 North location around 5:30 a.m.

According to county officials, crews managed to contain the flames and the plant office opened at regular hours.

No injuries occurred.
