Opening dates have been set for several new businesses coming to Cookeville in the next few months.
Ulta Beauty, a cosmetic store specializing in skincare and beauty supplies, is set to open Friday, Oct. 26. Ulta will be located in the new Shoppes at Eagle Point center off Interstate Drive.
Another Shoppes resident, Ross Dress for Less, will also open in October with a hiring event scheduled Sept. 10-12 beginning at 9 a.m. in the Cookeville Hampton Inn.
A new cajun-themed store, Bubba Gandy Seafood Cajun Market is set to open Oct. 26 at Fountain Court along South Lowe Avenue. The store will be the fourth location for Bubba Gandy in Tennessee, with other locations in Columbia, Jackson, and Murfreesboro.
Last week, new stores such as Publix and Five Below opened for the first time at Eagle Point, with others like PetSmart opening soon and Baskin Robbins relocating in the near future.
Hobby Lobby recently announced it will relocate to Jackson Plaza and occupy half of the former Sears building. A second tenant is expected to be announced soon.
