A Cookeville home suffered damage when a fire broke out early Tuesday morning.
The Cookeville Fire Department responded to the home on Fairground Lane around 1:00 a.m. Cookeville Fire Chief Daryl Blair said the blaze started in the kitchen and spread to the attic by the time crews arrived on scene.
Blair said the home suffered a considerable amount of damage. No injuries were reported.
