A 34-year-old Jamestown woman faces her 4th DUI offense following a Monday afternoon crash in Fentress County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Emily O. Miller is also charged with reckless endangerment, vehicular assault, and simple possession of a schedule 4 drug.

The crash happened at 1:15 p.m. on Highway 127 North and Fred Young Road.

According to the THP, 56-year-old Brenda Summers of Grimsley was traveling North on Highway 127 and attempted to turn left onto Fred Young Road. A crash report said Miller attempted to pass in a no passing zone when her Chrysler 300 struck Summer’s 2003 Expedition in the driver’s side.

Summers was transported from the scene for medical treatment and Miller had to be airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
