Tree Limb Causes Brief Power Outage In Cookeville

Cookeville Electric customers lost power this morning after a tree limb fell across power lines.

Cookeville Electric representative Karen Brown said crews removed the tree limb from the line and quickly restored power. The outage affected approximately 1,500 customers and lasted about 20 minutes.

Parts of Jefferson Avenue were affected by the outage.
