White County authorities charged a man with his 8th driving on a revoked license offense following a short pursuit Sunday.
Deputies also charged 43-year-old Richard Dunham Jr. with simple possession of schedule VI drugs, felony evading arrest, and leaving the scene of an accident.
According to a press release from the White County Sheriff’s Office, deputies initiated a traffic stop on Highway 111 and Fred Hill Road after Dunham failed to maintain his lane of travel.
The report said Dunham refused commands to stop and a short pursuit ensued down Highway 111 and ended at Hillsman Modular Molding Incorporated.
Dunham had to be forcibly removed from his Nissan Sentra after he allegedly refused to comply with commands to exit the vehicle.
He’s was transported to the White County Jail and issued a $25,000 bond.
