Cosmo’s Brawl Leads to Baxter Man’s Arrest

A Baxter man was released on bond following a fight at Cosmo’s Bar and Grill in Cookeville.

According to arrest warrants, 49-year-old Samuel Stout walked into the restaurant Saturday night looking for a customer named Marcus Tollett. Stout then punched Tollett in the face and told him he would be outside.

The report states the incident continued as the Tollett, several patrons, and the manager followed Stout outside, where he pulled out a handgun and pointed it at Tollett.

Stout then used his vehicle and knowingly charged toward the manager while he attempted to take a picture of Stout’s license plate.

Stout faces two counts of aggravated assault. His bond was set at $20,000.
