Cumberland County Commissioners approved the new fiscal year budget Thursday.
The budget provides funding for a two percent raise for all county employees, four new school resource officers, and two new full-time E-911 dispatch positions.
The county property tax rate will be set at $1.56. which is the same rate as the previous fiscal year.
The entire $107.7 million budget is divided with 62-percent going to the Board of Education, 25-percent to the County General Fund, 6-percent to the Debt Fund, 4-percent to the Highway Department, and 2-percent to Solid Waste.
Commissioners approved the new budget with a 15-1 vote.
