A medical helicopter flew a Smithville man to Vanderbilt Medical Center following a Wednesday afternoon crash in DeKalb County.
Officials identified the Highway 70 East crash victim as Mark Robinson.
A Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report said Robinson was traveling East in a Dodge Dakota when he lost control and went off the highway. The report stated that the truck overturned and came to a rest in a ditch.
Robinson had to be extricated from the vehicle. His condition remains unknown.
