A Sparta man faces a number of charges after leading White County deputies on a vehicle pursuit Tuesday.
Authorities have charged 28-year-old Russell Moss with aggravated burglary, felony evading arrest, and aggravated assault.
According to a written statement, Moss was driving a stolen 2002 Nissan Altima when deputies attempted a traffic stop on Country Club Road.
Moss reportedly increased his speed and lead police on a pursuit that eventually ended on Mt. Gilead Church Road after he crashed the vehicle into a tree.
Moss allegedly fled on foot and was arrested after a successful K-9 track and altercation with officers.
After the pursuit, two officers were taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
