Maintenance Work To Require Power Outage In Cookeville

Maintenance work will require a brief outage at the West Cookeville substation Friday morning.

Cookeville Electric spokesperson Karen Brown said the majority of the affected area will be West of Dixie Avenue and North of Buffalo Valley Road.

The outage is required to perform maintenance that will ensure station reliability, Brown said.

The power outage will occur around 4:00 a.m. If customers have any questions, they can call the Cookeville Electric Department at 931-520-5439
