Joshua Jordi has returned to White County to face first-degree murder charges related to the fatal stabbing of his father.
Jordi is accused of killing 51-year-old Timothy Jordi on March 8th at a home in the Mount Vernon subdivision.
According to the White County Sheriff’s Office, officers went to the victim’s home after he failed to show up to work and was unable to be reached. Upon arrival, officers found the victim deceases with multiple stab wounds.
The 21-year-old was booked into the White County Jail late Friday evening after being extradited from Blue Earth County, Minnesota. Following the alleged stabbing, authorities said Jordi fled to Minnesota where he is a college student.
Jordi’s bond is set at $1.5 million and he appears in court Tuesday.
