A woman wanted for first-degree murder in Metro Nashville has landed behind bars following a pursuit in Putnam County Monday night.
27-year-old Amanda Henson faces charges of DUI, shoplifting, reckless endangerment and felony evading.
According to The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Cookeville Police initiated the pursuit for shoplifting.
A report states that Cookeville officers terminated the pursuit when Henson’s vehicle passed Trooper Michael Robertson on I 40 at miler marker 285. Robertson managed to get Henson to stop at mile marker 276 and placed her in custody.
