Mr. Charles Darty, age 79, of Cookeville, passed away Wednesday May 9 at NHC of Cookeville. Arrangements are incomplete.
Jill Lynne Capouch, 70 of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Jill was born Friday, June 6, 1947 in Casey, Illinois and she was the daughter of the late Jim Garver and the late Jayne (Shick) Vass. Jill was a loving daughter, wife, mom, and NaNa. She was the rock of her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Jill chose cremation, the family followed her wishes and Jill requested no services of any kind.
Funeral services for Dylan Cucinella, 14 of Sparta, will be held at 7pm on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Carl Stiglich officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until the time of service at the funeral home. The family will attend a private burial. Dylan passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018, at his residence. Born Saturday, May 10, 2003 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of Michael Cucinella and Relva Lewis.

Mr. Dow Passed Away On Saturday, May 5, 2018, At The Pickett County Care And Rehabilitation Center In Byrdstown. Mr. Dow Was President And CEO Of Da Lo Industries, Incorporated In Byrdstown, Tennessee, For Approximately 40 Years. He Formed The Gospel Crusaders Quartet Group And Sang With Them. He And His Wife Started Their Own Publishing Company, Begley Dow Publishing Company. He Attended And Sang With His Wife At The Central Grove Baptist Church And Peolia Methodist Church In Albany, Kentucky. He Was A Faithful Servant Of The Lord, Good Family Man And Parent. He Is Survived By His Daughter And Son-In-Law, Sherry And John Baines Of Frisco, TX; Son And Daughter-In-Law, David Jr. And Martha Dow Of Albany, KY; 4 Grandchildren, Andika Pennycuff Of Albany, KY, Bryan Wilson Of Sachse, TX, Brent Wilson Of Crossroads, TX, David Drake Dow Of Byrdstown, TN; 7 Great Grandchildren; Brothers-In-Law, Rev. Celebration of Life for Della “Jean” Smith, 67 of Cookeville, will be held, Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Paran Church in Cookeville. Jean passed from this life Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at her home in Cookeville. Jean was born Wednesday, August 9, 1950 and she was the daughter of the late Carl E. Sr.and the Dorothy (Johnson) Stults. Jean enjoyed spending time with family and working for the Lord. She worked at Lucky B Manufacturing for many years. Jean loved animals and especially her German Shepherd, Duck. Jean is survived by: 2 Daughters: Dawn Huckeby, Jennifer and Terry Mansell; 1 Son: Jamie McGinnis; 2 Grandsons: Daniel James Harville, Elijah Glenn McGinnis; Great-Granddaughter: Kallie Jaden Lynn Harville. In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by: Brother: Carl Stults, Jr. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to: Cookeville Putnam County Animal Shelter, 2650 Gainesboro Grade, Cookeville, TN 38501 in memory of Della Jean Smith.
Funeral services for Mr. Harold Qualls, age 84, of Rickman will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. Randy Prichard will officiate. Burial will be in the Speck Cemetery with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. & Friday from 8 a.m. until time of services. Mr. Qualls passed from this life on Tuesday afternoon, May 8, 2018 from the Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born in Overton County on February 2, 1934 to the late Tilden Horace & Viola Lula Norrod Qualls. Harold was a 1954 graduate of Rickman High School. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Harold married Miss Nina Jo Bennett on February 22, 1962 and started their family. Harold was a people person who never met a stranger. A huge PATRIOT, who loved his God, his Country, and his Flag. Harold enjoyed eating breakfast with his son on Saturdays, and would find a new place to go every week. He loved and adored his grandchildren, He loved watching Men’s Kentucky College Basketball and would tell you that Kentucky narrowly lost to Kansas State in the Regional Semifinals on March 22th with the score being 61 to 58. Harold loved working on his farm with cattle and was proud of his children and having a Century Farm in Overton County to pass along to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Interment following in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Mr. Clack died Wednesday afternoon, May 9, 2018, at Bailey Manor in Cookeville. The family will receive friends Friday, May 11th, 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 12th, 9 a.m. until service time at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.
Funeral service for James Richard Denton, 68 of Sparta, will be at 11:30 am Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Richard passed away Monday evening, May 7, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1949 in White County to the late James Elmer and Lena Mae Graham Denton. He was also preceded in death by his sister: Dorothy Marie Adcock. Richard was a devoted Truck Driver. He is survived by his wife: Gladys Faye Stacy Denton of Sparta; Son: Richie Edward (Marcella) Denton; Daughter: Stacey Leona (James) Snodgrass; Grandchildren: Alexis Russell, Todd Russell, Mercedes Mosley, Olivia Pelham, Kaylee Snodgrass, and Cayd Snodgrass; Great-Grandchild: Brooklyn Addison; Special Daughter: Letitia Manus; along with several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends after 5:00 pm Friday evening.
Funeral services for A’Shaii Duprae Miles, 5 month son of Joshua Spicer and Oriyana Miles, will be Wednesday, May 16 at 1 PM from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Algood Heritage Cemetery. A’Shaii died Monday, May 7, 2018 at The Children’s Hospital at Tri Star Centennial in Nashville. He was born December 1, 2017 in Cookeville. He was preceded in death by great grandfather, William Cartwright. Survivors in addition to his parents include grandparents: Mitzi Cartwright of Algood, Jamal Miles of Nashville, Cathy Spicer of Ripley, great-grandmother Linda Cartwright of Algood. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home.
