Head-On Crash Injures Three People In Cumberland County

A head-on vehicle collision injured three people in Cumberland County Wednesday.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on Highway 70 West.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that the crash happened as 77-year-old Katherine McFarland of Crossville attempted turn onto Highway 70 East from Parks Road.

The report states that McFarland’s Ford Taurus turned into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a 1998 Dodge Dakota driven by 29-year-old James Eber of Sparta.

The crash injured McFarland’s passenger identified as 78-year-old William McFarland.
