Inmate Walks Off From Work Crew; Captured In Cumberland Co.

Cumberland County authorities captured a minimum security inmate who walked away from a work crew in Nashville today.

Adam Williams captured in Cumberland County this afternoon.

Authorities said Williams walked away from his community service crew at the James K. Polk building. He fled in a pickup truck and was later spotted by deputies in Cumberland County.

Williams was serving his 5-year sentence for burglary and theft at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution.
