Wilkerson Defeats Coomer In Circuit Court Clerk Race

Jennifer Wilkerson defeated Terry Coomer Tuesday night in the Republican Primary for Putnam County Circuit Court Clerk.

Wilkerson will be the county’s new Circuit Court Clerk as she will be running unopposed in the August General Election.

Current Clerk Marcia Borys did not seek reelection.

Wilkerson tallied 60-percent of the total votes cast Tuesday night.
